Join a local off-roading club.
Most clubs have a rights-of-way officer, who will keep up-to-date maps of all known "green lanes" with vehicular rights-of-way.
Buy the same OS maps as he uses, and copy his rights-of-way information to your own map.

Don't go greenlaning alone - make sure you have 2 or 3 vehicles in case one gets stuck, plus all the necessary recovery equipment (ropes, shackles, tree-strops, winches, high-lift jack, etc).

Land Rover monthly magazine has a greenlaning map supplement of every known route in the UK, If its not in this months issue you could probably order a back issue of it.
