Absolutely nowhere. My life would be the same in death as it's been in life.

Reading all the answers, there are several possibilities to consider.
First one needs a source of authority, which is, subjective experience, or objective source. The two points to consider are what most people hope will be reality.... the existence of heaven or hell or the eternal world to come.
Second, if a person observes through personal experience, the after affect of death, it appears that the grave is the end of our life. If a person puts faith in the religion of his/her choice, most of those religions offer a hope in deliverance or escape from this earth life to heaven. This is the most popular hope and expectation, based on pagan religion teachings.
But there is two more alternatives one of which is, Nothing, a Nirvanah. The other alternative is what I believe. When my body dies, my soul, returns to the presence of Creator God. At some point, according to the will of God...there will be a resurrection of those who have lived both in faith and hope and right living. According to the Hebrew Bible, the source of hope for the Jewish people, is that God will judge righteously, and the reward will be resurrection life for those who tried to live well, with mercy and compassion and generosity and humility. THis alternative is both for those who believe as Jews, and those who as Believing Gentiles also live in this same manner.
I hope you all will have this hope and experience. Sincerely

I'd "sleep" until the rapture when Jesus comes back for the dead first and then the living believers! Have you accepted Christ as your personal savior? Read John 3:16 and John 14. These scriptures tell about God's profound love for us through the sacrifice of his beloved son Jesus! If you read them not only will they give you great peace of heart and mind, you will also no doubt want to know how you can accept Christ. Then read Romans 10:9-11. It tells you how. If you do this you'll share the same blessed assurance that your soul will have a glorious resting place in God. You'll no longer have to wonder about where you will go when you die. I offer Christ to you! God bless you.
