I do not understand the ending of The Fog (2005). Can someone please explain it to me?

I don't get the whole kiss thing & then she's gone with them.

The ending sucked and it didn't make sense to me either. Either the ghost kissed her and the spirit of ghost's wife came out of her or she was a ghost from the start. Its been a while since I've seen it so I don't really remember the details. But don't worry your not alone.

The remake story was a bit different then the original. I didn't understand why she went either.
