Being honest is a virtue in itself and I do it for my own sake as people can never really know if a person is being truthful. Also it helps to make one sincere and people can spot a sincere person that is one thing that can attract others to a person, being honest can raise your self esteem, the hard path is the path we must follow. Do it for yourself, lying, hiding, cheating or anyother ill way will not really hurt others as it does more damage for your own image and reputation. Thats just what I grew up feeling, what comes around goes around. Positive input = Positive output. Keep your head up I sure hope there are other honest people out there too.

Honesty is not only the key to relationships, but also knowing that the person you present yourself as is the truth. I believe this world would be very different if we all were honest.

Telling the truth - no matter how you are likely to benefit or suffer for it.
It is still out there; you have to judge each person's commitment to honesty on an individual basis. Society in general is not truthful.

Yes... just not every where. Honesty is telling to the truth no matter what the situation, sincerity in what you say.

Honesty is your opinion on something, expressed without outside influence. Of course it does. I just used it now.

When I turned 18, and was about to travel abroad for the first time on my own, my Dad had a small talk with me, where he had me promise him that I wouldn't do anything that I can't tell him about when I get back .... I kept my word .... I told him some pretty bad stuff when I got back! Only because i didn't wan to lie

Of corse hoesty exsits todays world the thing is is that hoesty is a rare thig because todays people are so dishonest that it almost rbs off o other people it makes them think it is okay for them to lie and be u-honest as well. Even thogh we don't thik about it every1 is dishonest! toodles

Of course it does.
Because honesty is easier, more productive, and more enjoyable than lying.
Have you ever taken a moment to tell someone EXACTLY what you think of him or her? It feels GREAT.

honesty is no hiding and no hurting.
ex: u get caught doing something-admit it.
ex2: she asks you if youre bored-say youre not..even if you are.
