7th grade:
him:liked me..actually obsessed
me: didnt like him..alwayz mean to him
8th grade:
us: different classes
me:liked him..actually obsessed
him: dont know if he liked me..alwayz looked at me depressed
about 7 months after seeing him on 9th grade orientation day
we saw each other and made eye contact for 1 minute both depressed and not noticing the people between us...really connected..and i cant stop thinking of him ever since
recently:
when he's around people (mostly girls) and he see's me he looks away in like less than half a second and pretends like he doesnt even notice me
when he's not around ppl he looks at me until he feels someone is about to notice
and when we are about to pass by each other in the hallwayz he turns in a different direction just so he can avoid me
what is he thinking and does he still like me?

When someone has a crush on you... they often try to look away to keep themselves from being caught... He has a hidden crush on you most likely.
Meaning you should ask him out, or try to talk to him for once.

whoa this is so wierd! i am in totally the same situation, except it all happened for me in one year:9th grade
i'll be a sophomore next year...and i'm confuzzled too!
hmm....if he goes out of his way to avoid you in the halls, then i bet he is using body language to convey the fact that he is not interested and wants not much to do with you. but when you 2 are alone, he checks you out a lot, huh? maybe that means he's too shy when around other people.
this is my situation too ya know!
i have 2 theories:
1. he doesn't REALLY like you, but can't get over the fact that he DID in 7th grade. he continues to look at u cuz he's used to it.
2. he really likes you! but he's so shy. you should approach him and ask him out!
Yes, these ideas are totally different. but...depends on which one u like better. go with that one. they are BOTH very possible.

Yes, these are very confusing times. Find an excuse to talk to him. Smile. Any comment will do -- about a school sports team, a class or a teacher of his, the weather, anything and see if it opens up a line of communication. Good luck.

ok well since you two havent really talked he might have a crush on you at the most, but you're obsessing over this guy, really you need to expand your playing field, dont wait for him! He might end up to be a total jerk anyways, enjoy your freedom, chat up with all the hot guys you can, and stop becoming so attached when you dont even know him!

You're in a chasing relationship...when one chases the other runs. You will know if he likes you if you ignore him and then if he's interested he will start make initial contact. Otherwise, maybe the train has left the station.

most likely he is waiting for you to make the first move ...
guys dont think ....they want things to come easy ....so they wait for the girl to make the first move when at the same time girls want things to come easy too...i know cuz i do .....and we wait for the guys to make the first move ....
if you can get up the guts ...say hey to him ...and try to get a hug out of everytime you see him let him know you care ....and he will get out of the phase he is in ......hope that can !!

he probably still likes you but doesnt know how you feel about him and is afraid that he get his feelings hurt if you find out he likes you. or he's playing hard to get
