Even though you arent blood related you are related through marriage. It is not ok that ou two are trying to pursue a relationship that cannot go anywhere. You both are old enough to know right from wrong. Your hormones may be telling you it is ok, and it may be if you werent related, but since you are the bset thing you can do is drop the fondness for each other and find some other hobbies!

I also think your family may benefit from some counseling because your actions will follow you for the rest of your lives. If anyone outside of you two found out there will be a whole lot of problems. Find someone else if you need to "be" with someone. While I dont condone teens getting it on, you are not my child therefore I cannot tell you what to do.

But honey- it would be best not to do this any longer.

It sounds like you are playing with fire. He is quite a bit older than you are. If you were both in your twenties the few years wouldn't matter, but in your teens there is a big difference in experience.

You should talk to your mom and explain these things to her. The only way you should be "considered boyfriend and girlfriend" is if you lived in two different houses. If you love each other, and that love is real, then it will wait until you have graduated. That is the time to pursue a relationship.

Fooling around with each other while you live together will lead to sex. Which could lead to pregnancy. Then what happens when you break up? Most relationships that start when you are in ninth grade will end before you are in tenth. It will be hard to live together after some of those things have happened.

It's not morally wrong. However, I would just encourage you to consider that the likelihood you will stay together forever is next to nothing. But, if your mom and his dad DO stay together, you will always be tied to your stepbrother somehow and having fooled around in the past and having been boyfriend and girlfriend may cause both of you to feel really weird or uncomfortable around each other. I understand that you like him, but of all the guys in the world to get together with, your stepbrother is probably not the best choice. Too complicated.

Your parents will be very upset. At 14, you are too young to fool around with a 17 year old. You are living as brother and sister and if you cross that line, then break up, it will be too hard to take. Stop any romantic relationship. If you still feel that way when you get older, then approach your parents and date in the open.

It will be when he's 18 and goes to jail for being with a minor. It's best to find someone further from home so when things go bad you can still all come to Christmas dinner. Honestly your 14 and have a lot of life to live so don't go down that road. If your parents stay together you'll be seeing each other in the future and having a past isn't for the best.

Yes it is wrong. Your parents should have been watching because there was a good chance this would happen. Don't do it anymore because you will be hurting a lot of people in the end. First of all, you are too young for a bf. Wait a few more yrs. and go out and find a bf.

its a bit freaky but you guys are not biologically attached. Why dont you talk to your mom about it first because eventually if you and your step brother continue to fool around, its possible that both of you may fall for each other wich would create even more awkwardness within the family

While it may not be "wrong" in regards to blood, it's probably not a good idea and fooling around with him is a definite no-no as if things get too hot and heavy there could be reprecussions (such as pregnancy) that would hurt you and the family more than you can imagine.

Oddly enough...I think that this very situation happened on All My Children several years ago!
I think that the two characters ended up together, but you have to be emotionally prepared to deal with others in your family that will not agree with you wholeheartedly. What's more is that I think that the town turned against their union in the soap. Good luck if you end up together.
