if my math teacher had me drawing the viseca pisces; building magick squares; drawing pentagrams on stuff; learning about fibbonacci, and the golden mean; doing mandelbrot fractals; and looking at triangles all the time, not only would i have paid more attention, but all of my subsequent experiences with psychedellic drugs would have made a lot more sense.

is there any good reason why this stuff doesn't get taught in high schools? or was i just paying even less attention than i remember, and missed it all, despite how fascinating i find it?

No, but there is a horrible reason. It's that mathematics is usually taught as a terrible, boring, and completely mechanical subject. I actually have to string with the conspiracy theorist on this one--though it's not the illuminati who want you dumb and pliable, it's the Republicans and their donors at ETS.

Keep in mind that HS develops the basic principals of those studies that are continued into college. Evidently, somewhere along the line, you picked up that such topics exist - this is pretty much the same focus that a college education will give you, i.e., that you are aware that certain tools exist and how to go about using them. At the PhD level in math, hopefully someone will have the knowledge to at least say something about the above topics.

Sorry to hear about the drugs.

Hope you have quit.

Those topics aren't really germane to the study of basic geometry, and would not offer much in the way of an understanding of the basic concepts. I am bemused by the appelation of "sacred geometry"; can't say that I've ever considered geometry as anything particularly sacred.

in reality, the purely element that i'll locate in worry-loose with sacred geometry and alchemy is they both take care of sorts of spirituality. Sacred geometry bargains with using geometric kinds and shapes interior the layout and structure of church homes, temples, mosques or everywhere of non secular amassing. those particular shapes mean particular issues, searching on the religion or perception equipment. for instance, the pentagram in Christianity refers back to the 5 senses. In Catholicism, it would want to now and again talk with the devil, or the Evil One. Alchemy bargains with the frame of mind of turning metals into gold, utilising chemical substances and technological awareness. even if, Alchemy is likewise a perception in searching the perfect expertise by ability of chemistry. hence, alchemy is a spirituality all its personal. All in all, the purely element that i'll work out in worry-loose between both is they both take care of a form, or sorts, of spirituality.

For the same reason Christianity and Hinduism are not taught in high school. Assigning religious significance to symbols is not what high school are generally trying to do.

Such things are just too controversial, and may lead to a deeper quest for the truth about what's really going on. The Illuminati, who run this world, want us ignorant, and unenlightened. If we gain too much genuine knowledge, we may just present a problem to them, and their plans for a new world order police state.

They do offer geometry, but only Algebra is required, so you might've never took math again after you passed Algebra.
