skinny jeans, or are they simply as the name implies. It seems like you only see the jeans on tooth picks. I remember wearing jeans like that back in grade school (before curves) and they didn't look good on me then. Does anyone actually think that they look good on anyone who isn't a toothpick? Curiousity here.

I know, it's not flattering for anyone!!!!! If you're too skinny, it looks like a butt-less wonder. If you have bigger hips, well, you know how that'll look. That's a bandwagon I'm definitely not hoping on this fall, at most, I'll go with straight jeans, but skinny jeans..uh-uh! I suspect that this trend won't last long since, when things don't flatter you, you tend NOT to buy them (though the exception to this rule was the capri pant...ewww)...right?

I think that are horrible too. My friend tried on a pair and she could not even walk. I think that it is a quick trend that will go away soon. I think that it will be a trend that people will look at in the future and say "what was I thinking"
I would never buy them and I could wear them well, but I think that even skinny people look funny in them. I see young boys wearing tight jeans now too. It just is not a good look for anyone.

I really hated this new style. I'm not slim at all. I'm pretty sure "skinny jeans" is just a new type of cut, however. Curvier girls can wear them. The name is just extremely misleading and rather stupid as it increases the image that girls must be thin.

They don't give us much of a choice. Nowadays all jeans are made with spandex. And if they're not made with spandex...they're not low rise. I get frustrated everytime I go shopping for jeans because I'm looking for low rise jeans with Lycra, not spandex. Lycra doesn't hug you so tight and is ideal for people like me with bigger thighs and hips and a**! lol.

Honestly, I don't think they look good on some people. I guess they look good on the people with enough confidence to wear them! I'm 16 years old, 5'4" and 103 pounds, and I don't like them on myself. It's just a personal preference, I suppose.

You can - but I suggest wearing a longer tunic to cover the hips. I don't think these jeans are really flattering.

i have a huge *** and thighs and skinny everything else..i think they look just as good on me as they do on all them toothpicks...so yea u should try them
