I have fourteen fish in two fresh water tanks. They grow slowly (months). We buy them as youngins. We keep the water clean and feed them little pinches of fish food two or three times a day now. They are huge now! Two and a half years is the oldest. She's a Rosey Catfish. We also have three angels, one Do Joe, four Neons, and a Beta. In the smaller tank we have five Tiger Barbs. They are too aggressive to be with the other fish. They don't get very big. Separate them from your other fish please. When they get used to the tank they will bully all of your other fish.

Funny you ask, if the fish are Tin Foil Barbs, then they will get huge- I have a 55 gallon tank, I purchased them when they were about the size stated above- within 2 years they are grown to 8 or 9 inches long each!! They became extremely annoying after awhile, everytime you go by the tank they freak out and splash water everywhere! So, today I gave them and I some relief, I took them to a local pond and let them free- they were extremely messy to get there (splashed water everywhere). Hopefully you have a really big tank- they will grow accordingly.

How huge is it now and how huge do you opt for it to be and what type of goldfish is it? minimum length tank 29 gallon for one or 2 minimum for 3 or more beneficial might want to be 50 gallons lots of filtration - goldfish positioned out a large number of waste - i favor to double the clear out on the goldfish tanks (60 gallon clear out for the 29 gallon tank) Feed once an afternoon, as a lot as they're going to eat in a jiffy. Overfeeding may reason the fishes gut to rupture and kill the fish. A goldfish will improve to the intensity of the water it truly is kept in. If the tank isn't large sufficient to allow the goldfish to make stronger, it truly is boom will be stunted and this may reason the fish to develop into undesirable and die. the flowery goldfish do not get as great because the worry-loose/comet/shubunkin/feeder goldfish. The more beneficial room you provides your goldfish, the speedier it truly is going to improve.
