geocentric means the earth is the center of the universe but how do you explain a geocentric person?

A context would be helpful. Just taking an educated guess, a geocentric person see the earth as the centre of the universe, perhaps in a theological or even anthropomorphic sense. An example would be someone that dismisses the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence and would rather focus on "down-to-earth" issues. In a more historical sense, it might be someone who see Creation being made specifically for the benefit of the earth in general and perhaps humanity in specific, but not quite to the same level as species-egotism.

If this is in relation to Western Civ history, perhaps it is relating to the time period in which individuals believed this to be true of the earth- so prior to Galileo, in his defense of Copernicus. You could talk about the cultural constructs of that time period the 15th, 16th century and location, as related to individual character formation. Hope this helps
