Good place for them. They are totally gross and inhumane, who wants to watch animals struggling in their death throes all the time, but you get used to it when you see how many flies they can catch and think where they might otherwise be, and before long you start cheering every time you see one stick. We were catching 100-150 per strip per day a couple of weeks ago. I've never known a fly to drop off.

I think fly strips shouldn't be over a counter ,ever!!!!! Over a garbage can in the kitchen ,yes !!! Over a pet cage ,yes!!! Over were you eat should always be off limits along with were you prepare food.

there are like little boxes with the fly paper in them. thats what i put put now. i thing the strips are sick too.
