Kevin Conroy. Batman: The Animated Series was the most perfect cartoon. Excellent writing, great voice actors, awesome designs, faithful to the source material. Perfect. Kevin Conroy's Batman had the perfect Bruce/Batman voice change. Conroy borough so much to Batman's character on screen. You could feel his anger, his pain, and he carried it with such dignity from the beginning of the series, to the revamped series on the WB, to both incarnations of Justice League.
I am a huge Batman fan, have been for over 26 years. I'm also fond of Adam West. Today, people are harsh to the old 1966 Batman show, but people forget that Batman was a comedy. It too was faithful to what Batman was for the time. From the 50s through the mid 60s, Batman was very campy. Those shows capture the feel of the book for it's time. That's what people forget. Batman wasn't dark like it is now until Neal Adams and Denny O'Neil took over in the late 60s/early 70s.
My old band were such big fans of Adam West that we wrote a song for him and titled our second album after him. We got the chance to meet him once, and we gave him a copy. He gave it two big thumbs up. Here's a link to the song for Adam West:

I've been reading Batman comics since I was young enough to read, and I grew up watching the 1966 Batman show in reruns and watching the old Superfriends cartoons, and the New Adventures of Batman cartoons growing up. I was never a fan of Tim Burton's batfilms. Michael Keaton was not convincing as Batman, played him too psychotic. As for Jack Nicholson as the Joker, he didn't really act, just played himself. It got worse with Batman Returns. When Joel Shumacher took over, I lost faith in ever having a good live action Batman movie. I'm glad Batman Begins was good. Can't wait to see what they do with the Joker.

Christian Bale, hands down. The new Batman Begins movie is way better than any of the previous cheesy installments. I like that comic book movies are getting darker and more realistic. I can't wait for the rest of this new Batman series to come out.
