I heard that they were just as accurate as others on the market. Here is a website that gives you information on many and most brands out there like dollar general and family dollar. The dollar general ones are suppose to pick up 50mlu. I even heard that some dollar store brands were more accurate and some nurses swear by them.

I found out I was pregnant from a dollar tree preg. test....
All test are the same for the most part, they all detect the same hormone, some earlier than others, ultimitly it depends on how much hormone your body is putting out. The test detected mine the first day of when my period was supposed to be. But like I said every preg. is different, it may take longer, just wait a little bit and be patient...good luck!!!

They are accurate if they are not out dated. Check the expiration date on every box you buy. The pregnancy tests at the dollar store are 25 MIU which means they will detect early pregnancy. Unless you are only like 2 weeks then the only test to be accurate would be a blood test. Good luck

First off, don't use dollar store tests, some are outdated, and others have been recalled for giving out false negative results, and being defective.

If your going to take a home test, splurge a bit and get the good ones.
If you are concerned about money, you can get a store brand test, these are very rarely ever outdated and HAVE to be as good as the bigger name brands, otherwise they can not sell them.

You can check the experation date by looking at the end of the box, if your in doubt, ask the pharmasist, they can check for you.
If you have questions about a brand, again, ask the pharmasist, that is their job, they have to know everything about what is sold in their department.

I have used a dollar store test. The result was positive. I bought one from a regular store to be sure, and got the same result. So, for me it worked.
