I would stick to mice (or rats, depending on the size of the snake).

No. Frozen, dressed out chickens are far from being nutritionally complete for any snake. One of the reasons snakes eat their food whole is to gain all the nutrients available in the prey animal's guts. A chicken that has been prepared for human consumption is lacking many of these nutrients the snake needs.
You can buy frozen rats, mice, and other snake food items on line from sites like http://miceonice.com. The order will be shipped frozen to your door, all you have to do is thaw the item in warm water and offer it to your snake.

If this chicken is frozen specifically for feeding reptiles, yes. If this chicken is frozen for feeding people, no! Do not be surprised if your ball decides not to eat anything else, if you feed it the chicken. I have given my balls gerbils for a change of pace and it was extremely difficult to get him to eat rats again. Just be careful what you feed your snake.

Yes but not as a steady diet. Thaw it then dip it in chicken broth and srinkle it with vitamins if you can get them at the pet store. If the pet store near you doesn't sell rats and mice try lokking else where. s others have said above you can buy frozen rats and mice just microve it to thaw it and let it cool a bit before you feed it to your ball. also don't be alarmed if your Ball go off it's feed occassionally. I had one that refused to eat for about 5mos. and was fine. It usually happens in the fall or winter months.

What ouroboris said.
Also tho you can order frozen whole chicks from online places like
http://rodentpro.com/
http://www.frozendirect.com
http://www.bigappleherp.com
to name a few. Since they are whole, feathers included, the snake will be getting the correct nutrients rather then giving the snake cleaned chickens from a grocery store.
Because it can be expensive, if your snake is eating mice or rats, keep him on them.

usually snakes would not eat frozen chicken unless it was thawed and made to be body temperature.after all they hunt by heat.mice and rats are the best feed them to the snake alive unless you prefer to knock the rat out first my snakes like them to be running around then they sneak up on them and attack.

yes but cut in small swallowable pieces..although they could fit it all in them, it would dramatically lower their temperature, make sure he has something warm to lay on to help him digest it. I had a ball python that was 3 and half feet long, really gentle but didnt eat for months at a time
