Oh yeah. Today's cartoons are (for the most part) poorly drawn and not that entertaining. The old cartoons were great because they threw in some entertaining things for the adults as well, so if you had to sit through one with your child, you would get jokes that your child wouldn't get until he or she was older. The classics like Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry and those types of cartoons can still be entertaining to this day. I have a hard time imagining where Spongebob Squarepants (an OK cartoon I guess) will fit in 50 or even 100 years from now.

Yes I do. You can also find great animated entertainment from the last 30's and the 40's as well. The best Popeye cartoons were made during the 40's. It was pre-censorship and a lot of his muttering had some very adult commentary if you turn it up and pay attention.

Yeah. But I think the cartoons back then were good because they're classics. But today, most kids like cartoons now because there isn't reall anything much they want to watch, or they like the colors (or technicolors) on the TV. Also, if you noticed, most cartoons now deals with sorccery, witches, and all of that bad stuff, which isn't good to the average christian. But most of those witch and magic cartoons mostly attract girls to watch it more than the boys.

My all-time favourite cartoon was Freakazoid! It was created by Steven Spielberg. It aired from 1995-1997. I also loved Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain. All of which were created by Steven Speilberg.

I miss Looney Tunes. Those were the good ones. Like someone said, better than modern day ones.
