also it makes guys not want anymore sex after we ***,without it we would want more.and no it aint oxytocin.it's the complete opposite, the mood killer in guys. i mean sure we still wanna cuddle afterwards but even then it's like after a minute of us like walkin away for a second or like turning on our side kinda thing.i mean after sex have you ever gotten another erection withing the first five minutes?if so you gotta tell me how.however you just cant because it's still coursing through your body.

Most likely, youre talking about Melatonin which can cause lethargy, sleepiness, disinterest and/or indifference.
Dopamine is more related to motivation and pleasure.
Basically, Dopamine is an "upper" and Melatonin is a "downer."
Dopamine is released before and during sex to give the person a little more energy and enhance the pleasure. Melatonin is released afterwards to bring the person back down to normal.

Its oxytocin.
The body releases several feel good chemicals after sex, like ocytocin, dopamine, norepinephrine, and phenylethylamine, with the bulk of the chemicals released after orgasm.
I beleive the male and female bodies have a vastly different number of receptors for oxytocin, with males having 10 times as many receptors. In males, therefore, the megodose of oxytocin results in feelings of sleepiness. In females, the lesser dose results in feelings that researches cannot fully describe, but have called "something between happiness and love" (very unscientific terminology, which is why you never hear it).
These body signals can be ignored, of course, in the same way that one is not required to eat when hungry or required to wince when in pain. However, they still exist, and that is why people have noticed the tendencies for the 2 sexes to have differing desires after sex.

I really am not sure that what you are stating is true... and while I am not a man I know my ex had no problem getting it up after in 5 min or less... lol. As to how it was accomplished... well I take it as a compliment to me... hahaha. I know what you mean though.. some guys can't do it right after and have to wait quite awhile to be able to perform again. As for a man rolling over and going to sleep after.... I guess it could be attributed to hormones in some cases...

After orgasm, one of the hormones released, prolactin, is responsible for the refractory period and feeling of exhaustion, suppressing the effects of dopamine. There is also speculation that too much prolactin secretion causes impotence.

I don't think that a hormone is involved. And some guys definitely like being cuddly afterwards; it may be a learning thing.

probably dopamine, or some such.. puts us to sleep... and then we just want to escape from the clutches of the grasping female beast we have unleashed by letting her borrow our equipment.
