My school's dress code says that any skirts must hit at the mid thigh or longer. But my question is, would it still apply if leggings are worn underneath?

i guess every school will have a different rule when it comes to that. For example, maybe if the leggings are black it might be okay but if they are white, transparent type like really sheer, it might not be ok. And if they were fishnet type of either color the probably wouldnt be ok either.

You should check with your school to be sure so you dont get in trouble.

(its funny how old styles come back around...this is very '80's. and the leggings are back!)

My school code still has the same length even with leggings, they just addressed that the other day.

yes it does my skool has the same thing but they say theyll still be looking if you have leggings on but realisticly leggings arent pants in the first place so you dont want a short skirt on anyways

I wouldn't think so...schools don't keep up on fashion trends so I think they just want to make sure you're not going to inadvertently flash anyone! lol, leggings are cool, huh?
