to banning smoking?

No, the last time I checked this was a free country. Maybe that's something you enjoy and maybe it's not, but if it gets banned then that will open the door for other things to get banned. Not to mention there are always choices. If you don't like to smoke, don't go where people smoke. But, do you really think it's fair to allow a restaurant to be no smoking and not allow other restaurants to be all smoking if they like? I don't smoke, but I used to and people forget that it was my choice. My choice to harm my body and my choice to stop. Stop messing with the freedom to choose for yourself.

My mom died of Lung Cancer. It was a horrible death.

I would like to see smoking banned in all restaurants, bars and public places, within 25 feet of a building entrance and in enclosed spaces with children (cars). What people do at home is their business. If that is how they want to die its their choice, but second hand smoke is a real danger and kills people. It is the government's responsibility to look after the health and welfare of its citizens, and if that means baning smoke in restaurants so the wait staff will not get cancer 30 years from now it is a good thing.

Yes because smoking is really really bad for you. And also, Smoking causes alot of health issues. It could also be a no because if smoking was banned, they would be forced to smoke inside there houses and that will be exposing children and other loved ones to second hand smoke which is worse than smoking.

No--it could be a little stricter, but a complete ban isn't fair to business owners. If they can completely isolate smoking areas from non-smoking and offer employees a choice of where to work, they should be allowed to run their business the way they want.

No. I smoke but if I didn't smoke I would still feel like that is a personal choice. They don't ban drinking do they? That kills more innocent people than smoking.

No. I do not smoke. No one in my immediate family smokes. However, I think adults should get to make adult decisions. I don't think that the government should extend its reach any farther into the sphere of private decisions.

Conversely, I don't think smokers that smoke in the era of warning labels should be able to sue tobacco companies or expect taxpayers to fund their hospital stays for lung cancer.

I do think that it is reasonable to restrict where one may smoke due to the dangers of secondhand smoke.

No. Even as a smoker I dont like it when you are allowed to smoke in bars and restaurants. I like to smoke in the privacy of my yard. I try to be considerate to others while I kill myself.

No - i used to smoke and it is a bad habit but people should be allowed to decide for themselves - are we gonna ban McDonald's because the food will clog your arteries?
