you pull the arm back on it,,and release the little holder next to the middle of it,,and slide it out,,or you can but the whole thing,,and it is easier to replace that way,,i usually buy the complete thing,,instead of just the refill,,i hope this helps.

Depends upon what year.
Some years have pin type, some have hook type.
Pin type-Use flat head screwdriver between wiper arm and blade
then twist. To reinstall they just pop on.
Hook type-Raise wiper from windshield to form "T" then pull down on blade. Do reverse to reinstall.
