My issue is with people who bike on the roads. Now I know it's the law that they MUST be on the road because they are considered a vehicle, but why then do they get to use crosswalks? I can't get out of my car and push it across a crosswalk, so why can they? And isn't it far more dangerous to have a car hit a bike on the road, than a bike hit a pedestrian on the sidewalk? It just doesn't make an sense!

I am for people and the recognition of their worth. Criminal behavior as individuals and as nations is demeaning. Lebanon is a sovereign nation, and they are the victims of the war between the Hezbollah and the Nation of Israel. How can blowing up buildings and dwellings help the life of innocent men, women and children? Neither side is right in justifying what they have done. It is always old politicians who send young men to war. I propose that you let the old politicians meet in the coliseum with swords and shields and fight to the death, as was done in Rome. Watch and see how many old men enter the ring.

Oh have you brought up an incensed topic for me-THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (or rather, lack thereof) IN THE USA and how the governement chooses to spend it's money on wars and killing instead of taking care of the welfare of people by providing necessary health care for EVERY citizen!
It is mind boggling that this country has not taken any means to improve quality of life-like in Europe, Canada, even "Third World " Countries, where health/dental care is available for all and they (Europe) have train transit systems so that they are not as dependent on oil and okay, better stop here or I will write a book instead of a short response. Oh, one more thing-the genetic engineering of food that is done in this country in the name of money/greed/fast production, again. operating against caring about the health and welfare of people.

I believe strongly that the death penalty should be strongly implemented. I believe that criminals who committed heinous crimes and are duly sentenced to die for it; should be put to death. If they are found quilty by due process of the law; they shouldn't languish in death row at the expense of the public.

They shouldn't be allowed so many appeals at the expense of the taxpayers' money. Why is it that there's double jeopardy for them? And even as more evidence are uncovered they can not be prosecuted once found not quilty. It seems that criminals have more rights than the victims. For serial killers and murderers who have complete disregard for human life, the laws should be very strict on them.

Why is it that there are a lot of cases for death row criminals to get out of prison and this is not on appeal ? It cost the taxpayers' a lot of money to sustain them as well as to try them in courts. It causes overcrowding in prisons. It also cost a lot of money to maintain prisons.
And these facilities are well equipped to make their life comfortable.

They also insist that their constitutional rights should be protected. The way i see it the day a person decided to kill somebody recklessly is the day he should be stripped off his constitutional rights. It irks me so much when i hear a career criminal get out of prison and commit more crimes. Most criminals can never be rehabilitated; so prisons should be set up as punishment not rehabilitation centers.

i stand at work because im waiting for something to come to me to wash.

also people who use cell phones while driving. its annoying and its dangerous. they should use a headset or something while on it. both hands should be on the wheel not one holding the phone to your ear and the other on the wheel. its illegal (i think) but the police dont do anything about it. i have a cellphone yes. i use it while im driving yes, but i also use my ear piece too, because its simpler and safer, plus im a bad driver to begin with.

close-minded people bother me as well. why cant they accept the fact that some of us are different and we choose to be that way? why should we conform to their whims? just accept us for who and what we are and we will all get along.

The issue is men and their inability to listen/hear what is being communicated to them. They don't pay full attention-it's kind of like they tune in and out like a radio scanning stations.
