I think if Jesus walked into ANY church today, depending on the form HE chose to come in would dictate his welcome. For example, homeless people seemingly always shunned for whatever reason. Royalty would be treated, depending on the country of course, with awe maybe, respected. Mixed marriages, though more accepted nowadays, in some churches I'm sure it's frowned up...so, I believe, if Jesus walked into any church dressed like a homeless person...he would be shunned. If he walked in as a King or Prince, he MIGHT get treated with respect & awe.

That's what I think, anyway.

It's very sad but true that in my church if He would come in wearing a suit and had a degree He would be very respected and popular. If Jesus came the way He did the first time poor and very humble. He would not get much attention and would be ignored and snubbed... just like the rest of us.

i'm a Christian, yet i do not flow to church. i imagine that the vast majority of church homes are only social purposes, and they have little interest in genuinely helping others. The is a terror of the Lord in u.s., yet purely in theory; a lot of people nevertheless stay even if they prefer and then develop into "foxhole Christians" even as circumstances get hard (I genuinely have carried out this myself). people seem to favor to combine the international and worldly pleasures into their faithview, particularly than isolating from the international, so certain, they are fanatics of delight more beneficial than fanatics of God. people are Christians for all kinds of causes, yet American Christianity often and evangelicals particularly have lost their way for the most area, starting to be too indignant and political instead of only following God's be conscious. This does make me grieve, and it makes me cynical, too. And if a Christian is cynical about the Church, what ought to non-believers make of it?

I was raised Catholic and based on that I should be afraid of him but I think I would just be really glad to see him and I think everyone around me would be too. I would be very confused about why he decided to come to my church, I would think that would be kind of a bad thing, like we were in deep trouble or something.

He wouldn't be recognized. If he claimed to be Jesus, someone would call for the men in the white coats.

I guess people would bow down in worship. There'd be screaming and clapping.. Or could be a complete silence in awe.
