Probably not! From what I have read so far about his arrest and confession, there are too many inconsistancies to make a true finding of guilt. Unfortunately, given the mindset of mankind, he will probably be found guilty in the justice system's rendition of putting closure to the case at anyone's expense. Look at what happened to O.J. The only reason he was found not guilty seemed to be because those who investigated the case worked so hard at finding him guilty rather than the facts doing the talking, so to speak, that they were the focus of the case instead what actually happened at the crime scene. If Mark Karr did do this offense, then he ought to be imprisioned but if he did NOT, then he needs psychological help in other ways. He said she was killed "accidentially", yea right!!! Just how is it an "accidental" killing when there was a foot long crack in her skull and a garote tied around her neck that must be manually tightened until she was dead? I believe that Mr. Karr is after some kind of attention and is fascinated with the case like a warped fanatic.

To be honest, after 10 years of being tabloid fodder and news fuel, I am kind of tired of hearing about the Jon Benet case... BUT... Mark Karr looks like a pedophile if ever I saw one. I wouldn't be surprised if he killed her.

Listen to this.
Karr’s ex-wife, Lara Karr, was quoted by KGO-TV in California that she was with her former husband in Alabama at the time of JonBenet’s killing and she does not believe he was involved in the homicide.

Lara Karr, who lived with him in Northern California, said her ex-husband spent a lot of time studying the cases of Ramsey and Polly Klaas, who was abducted from her Petaluma, Calif., home and slain in 1993.

He was with his wife when it happened!
I really dont know if his wife is lying but he doesnt seem to be scared to say that he did it!

if we knew what he said in the confession we could be more sure. i just can't see how with all the mistakes and all the leaks * books, articles and movies that there's any "information" left that "only the killer would know"...Of course he's weird...he's "off"...ppl keep saying that they think he's just "mentally off"..well YEA...of course he is ....a mentally sound individual doesn't seek out lil' girls for sexual graitification. I hope he is guilty..so this poor family can finally start the healing process...if he isn't guilty, the punishment he'll get for all this misleading information will not be severe enuff.

That's a hard call! He is really a disturbed person, you can see it in his eyes. My true feelings are he is in desperate need of attention. I think hes truly sick mentally. Part of me leans toward fantasy rather then reality! 75% of me says he didn't do it, but there is a nagging 25% that I feel he did?

I think when they compare his DNA to that from Jon Benet's body it will not match. He's become obsessed with her and her murder because he is mentally ill. However, I do believe he is a pedophile, based on his history. He's a danger to young children, both boys and girls.

It sure sounds like it according to everything I've heard from news sources. But if there is one thing I've learned in life, it is not to trust the news when it comes to new stories.

I doubt it. My sense is that he's a nut case obsessed with her case. He supposedly wasn't even in CO when it happened.
