im a rapper from chicago il and i just basicly need to know what should i do to get my name heard book gigs do shows, i also need a manager and im also looking for a indie label or independent label to try an sign with, i also need free studio time so what im basicly trying to say is that i need a lot of help

Yo, wheres yo posse homeboy, your peeps, your crew.
Basically what i'm saying is you got to have friends, friends with connections, friends to get the word out, friends to help you do things, street team kind of friends.
nobody is just gonna give you free studio time. get a job working at a studio, (good luck) , working for a label,(hard work, little money) , Or a promotional company (same).
If someone like you and your sounds and you don't drive them crazy in the process with all your--Hey man listen to my stuff ---, they might give you a chance at some thing.
Or.. go stand on a street corner and sing your little heart out---someone is bound to discover you.

It sounds like you're just starting out. A manager won't be nearly as helpful as another more established artsit at this point. Find someone who's plugged in, doing shows and ask them to help you - say you'll headline for them for free, whatever. But it all comes from putting in the time and doing it.
