I am just starting it. Did you like it? Don't tell me anything further. Would you recommend it to someone?

I read it my sophomore year of high school (1978-79). It's about the Finch kids, a friend named Dill, and their father's attempt to defend a black man accused of raping a white girl. A sub plot deal's with the kids' attempt to get Boo Radley to come out of his parent's house. It's also a movie starring Gregory Peck. Read the book first, then watch the movie...

You lucky you have a chance to read that great Pulitzer Prize winning book by Harper Lee! I read it some 35 years ago. You can also catch it on DVD starring Gregory Peck. Matter of fact, I might just go ahead and read it again, thanks!

I definately would recommend it.

I am 34 and I remember reading it but I think I would have to hear about the plot and characters to remember it again. Very few books have stood out in my mind. They have to be very motivating or very well written. I do like William Falkner. Zig Ziglar, etc these are books few others have ever mentioned. i do think To Kill a Mockingbird is very common so you will get lots of answers to that one. I guess I have to recheck out that book again to remember.

I have read it several times, all for school. I had to do many essays on it, and tests. I pretty much know the book inside and out. I liked it the first time I read it, but after that became tired of it. I recommend reading it for pleasure.

It's one of my favorites. I also recommend the old movie of it. Even if parts of it seem a little slow to you, keep on and you will be rewarded. It's a very good story, and the characters are some of the most memorable you will ever read about.

It is my favorite older book, I usually find classics very boring and my mom sugested it to me, but I told her there was no way i'd read it. Well then we read it in school and i absolutley love it! Its great because it has many conflicts. Not just racism. I love harper lee now. I recommend this book to anyone who thinks classics are boring or can't find anything to read!!!
