I have been losing some weight and would like to shrink some of my jeans so they stay tight.
Other than washing in hot water and drying on high heat, what else might work?

Unfortunately, nothing can be done other than what you said. My suggestion...tailor them in or sell them on eBay and be happy with your new trim self. Congratulations to you!

If hot water and high heat in the dryer did not work, then your only option is to have them tailored. You can do this at some dry cleaners for a reasonable price. Also, celebrate your weight loss and buy some new jeans-- I did. Out with the old fat pants and in with the new skinny jeans! If your jeans are nice then you might be able to take them into an upper end consignment store and sell them and find good used jeans that fit.

in case your new denims are a length too huge, or in case your old denims are starting to be looser with positioned on, you could shrink the textile utilising warm water. There are different strategies you should use, yet warmth is a ingredient in one and all. listed less than are some different things you could attempt the subsequent time you want to shrink your denims right down to length

you can just dry them for awhile that's if you need them in a hurry, to get them the size you want..otherwise just wash in hot water and dry on high heat.

wash it is hot water and if you want to make it bigger was it is cold water

wash them, but the color will go away
