If you are a Christian, you must realize that by supporting war, you are guaranteeing yourself a place in hell. Jesus made it clear that fighting...even against those that persecute or attack you...is wrong. The one thing that Jesus said more than anything else is "do not be afraid". The second most thing that He said was "love your neighbor unconditionally". And no, that doesn't mean just the person who lives in the house next to yours...it means everyone! Killing someone is not loving them.
When the Zealots approached Jesus expecting to lead them in a war against Rome, Jesus reproached them. The closest thing to violence that Jesus ever did, was knocking over the tables of people that were trying to make people pay to worship.
Jesus repeatedly said "turn the other cheek", and "do not judge others". If you are truly a Christian, listen to what Jesus says. If you are truly a Christian, you must not support anyone that promotes fear, hatred, or war. You must not support those that try to take away from the poor (when asked what must be done to attain salvation, Jesus said "you must first sell everything that you own and give it all to the poor"). If you do, you will be judged and found lacking.
The tenets of Christianity are simple. Love God (which includes respecting that which He created), Love your neighbor (meaning every person), and do not fear. Simple. Yet many conservative Christians refuse to follow any of the three tenets. Conservatives work to destroy the environment to increase short-term profits. Conservatives believe that killing people is good, as long as your country is rich and has big technology, and is the United States or Israel. Conservatives try to take opportunity and the basic ability of the poor to live away. Conservatives spread fear and terror wherever they go. CONSERVATIVES ARE NOT CHRISTIANS. Christians do none of these things, because these things are expressly forbidden.
The Bush administration have lied about every single thing that they have talked about since being in power. While it's true that a sentence or two have been true, they were taken out of context and distorted to support a LIE!
Republicans will not even look at truth. Lay out as many facts as you want, and Republicans will not even look. Find one true thing that Democrats consider evil...I dare you! Republicans on the other hand...take most of the things that Republicans believe, and then try to find a shred of evidence for those beliefs...you won't find them. Republicans support evil in all of it's forms. Republicans are evil, mean spirited, and filled with bigotry. The truth puts a stop to all of these things. Liberals seek truth. Liberals support truth and try to show others. Conservatives obscure, distort, or hide Truth wherever they find it!
SHIRAZ...you are the epitomy of what you claim that democrats are. Evil. Mean spirited. Filled with bigotry. Add to that arrogant, ignorant, stupid, confused, and delusional.

Both parties are the same to me. I mean REP and DEMS today you cannot tell the difference anymore. During the 60's and 70's you saw a clear REP. from a DEM because though it was a hated time and very tumultuous period, people stood for something.
Today, no one has a real voice. The "truth" in this instance, is what they feel will fit in their poliltical agenda. Its funny how people say: no one has a agenda in the WHITE HOUSE, I raise my eyebrows: and laugh, because no matter who and what is running that "WHITE" HOUSE, there will always be an AGENDA,there wil always be differing "truths."
I mean look at the constitution. ITS STILL as a work in progress, amend there, barter there. Then we have the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE and BILL OF RIGHTS, these "truths" to be made, self-evident. So you see, the CON, D.I.P. and B.O.R, all speak "truths," but both parties use a smoke-screen for what they really want and that is power

I can't put myself into any political classification. But, I can say "What is the truth"?
Everyone sees everything a little differently. What one considers the truth may be considered by another to be bigotry and bias.
There's a saying about History, "There's three sides to every story. How one person sees it, how the other person sees it, and the truth."

You mean the real lefties. Moderate dems can handle the truth as well as moderate reps. However, the far right creates tends to see evil intent everywhere as well. In both cases it is because they want the world to match their ideal and any variance must be evidence of evil.

the most religious leaders usually at the on the spot are not commonly used through the standard public and quietly serve their congregations with humility. you're probably talking of the actors and in no way religious leaders. actual religious leaders in no way get on the television and ask you to deliver donations to them. actual religious leaders in no way attempt to be publicized yet do artwork to get their congregations known. They artwork behind the curtain. You look to speak of the full actors like Benny Hin, Jimmy Swaggert and the different actors that bypass themselves off as Christians.
