just eat lots of fresh oranges, they don't stop you being sick, but they taste the same coming up as going down.

Its nonsense to say that there is nothing you can do to feel better. There is plenty!
If you've tried all the natural remedies - ginger root pills (helped nausea but gave me heartburn!), ginger ale, ginger biscuits, acupressure bands, small frequent snacks, crackers etc and they don't work then there are medications for sickness which can be taken safely in pregnancy. But you will have to see your doctor about these.
My sickness has been very bad and nothing "natural" helped. It was also all day sickness not just in the monring so the "dry biscuit before you get out of bed" didn't do anything. My GP initally refused to prescribe anything but then I went to see my (Ob/Gyn) Consultant (much more knowledgeable than a GP!) who prescribed me a tablet called Cyclizine. It was really good and really helped with my sickness, I found I didn't have to take it all the time just when I felt really bad and it worked very quickly.
There are a range of anti-sickness drugs that can be safely used in pregnancy, I know Cyclizine and Stemetil are two of them (I live in the UK and I'm not sure of they are called something else in America). You would have to have them prescribed for you by a doctor though, you shouldn't take anything without a doctor's advice.
If your sickness is very bad and you're finding it hard to keep anything down you need to get treatment straight away. This is a condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum and can be potentially life threatening to you and the baby. Treatment would be admission to hospital with rehydration and anti sickness meds.
Don't suffer in silence - go and see your Doctor as soon as possible and discuss what options are open to you. Very few people know that there are safe anti-sickness meds which can be used in pregnancy.

I got very sick while I was pregnant with my daughter.... try taking Ginger Root pills either right before you start to get up or at the first sign of getting nauseated... works like a miracle!! You can get these at ANY vitamin store or herb section at any grocery store!! And because it's all NATURAL ... NO SIDE EFFECTS and very safe for the baby!!

If it's really bad, like mine was- I lost 20 lbs in my 1st trimester! Ask your doctor for a pill called Zofran. It's mainly used for cancer patients during Chemo- but it's totally safe, and works GREAT!!! Other than that, eat small meals often, drink plenty of water, and get plenty of rest!

I was never sick in the mornings with my two, but I've heard staying in bed with a cuppa and a couple of arrowroot {plain} biscuits helps.

Soda crackers as soon as you get up and ginger tea (PREFERABLY FRESH GINGER OR CRYSTALLIZED)If you can also find pure ginger candy that helps with nausea when your away from home. Try finding these items at an Asian store they have great ginger candy.
