If you are talking about making one on Yahoo! just click the smiley face right by where it says Welcome, _________. That should get you to where it says, yahoo avatar and everything.
If you are not talking about Yahoo and just want to create an avatar online then go to www.dressupgames.com and click on avatars. Click on any of the links and it will take you to the avatars you can create.

It's simple really , all you do is find all of the yahoo programs and look in A and you should find it click on avatars and create one for yourself.

Once you create your avatar, click on My Q&A (right under discover on this page). Once your info comes up, click on edit info (it will be in blue). Then choose your avator so you won't just have your smiley face... Happy choosing!!! But make sure you save your avator first!!!!!

Sign in to your mail, click on the blank picture, you choose the avatar's gender, and you make it to your liking.

Go to Avatars.yahoo.com. Pick out the features/clothes, etc that you want. Then, click save.

Click the smily face next to your name, select edit my info, and choose your avitar.

go to avatar.yahoo.com and make one. then on yahoo answers, go to "My Q&A". then go to edit profile and click the bubble with "My Avatar" and you got it.
