I know they're completely different from each other, but I'm extremely interested in both areas. Is it possible to double major in them (or major in one and minor in the other)?

I just came back from visiting a friend over in UCLA who has friends majoring in English and minoring in Geology.

Is it just too weird or impractical to do this?

It is completely fine and a good idea to do this. At my school (Ursinus College), students who are Envi Sci have to double major or major/minor to be more well rounded. Going for a double major would mean you have better job prospects. Plus, they should be in the same division/school, so a double major would be easy.

I am a double major in Politics and Sociology and no one finds it too r Biology and East Asian Studies, and International Relations anwierd. I have friends who double major in Biology and Dance, Biochemsitry/Molecular Biology and East Asian studies, and Biology and Philosophy (bio is one of our top majors, so almost everyone is a bio major.)
