There are lots of animals waiting for forever homes, even rabbits. The shelters usually just charge a small adoption fee for small animals like that. You'd be getting a sweet pet and be doing a good thing for a little fuzzball. Think about it.

Try adopting a rabbit from your local humane society or check the web for the House Rabbits Society. Too many rabbits are taken to shelters because their owners grew tired of them.
Understand and educate yourself on caring for a rabbit before you take on the responsibility of owning one. You'll be better prepared to care for your new pet if you do. Good Luck
