If it was possible they shoudn't assassinate Martin luther King Jr. but since they do , if white man see any possibility of black man becoming a president , they would probably ensure that the CIA or the FBI take care of him you know what I mean . unless he take some advice from Nelson Mandela from South Africa if he still alive .

I'd like to think so but there will be a few things that might prevent it:
1. The media - "OMG WTF...there's a BLACK MAN running for president!!!! Everyone do stories on how he's black and not on the issues and his platform!!"
2. His white opponents will try to exploit his blackness with a smear campaign, in some form or fashion.
3. There's a glass ceiling for black people as far as levels of government administration goes. Colin Powell and Condi Rice are anomalies, meaning they are the exception to this rule. It's still white America, whether you believe it or not.
Basically, people say they aren't racist anymore. But think about this: what if your son or daughter brought a black person home to meet the parents, and said they wanted to marry the black person? Based on how you react, that's how racist you really are.
I hate how some people say they aren't racist, but only as long as there isn't a black person under their roof. "Yea black people are fine, just stay away from me." That's what I'm talking about.

sure all they need is a good man and a decent track record. But that is true of anyone running for president. In lieu of that Loads of Money and influential contacts in the media ( I prefer Talk radio, since they seem to motivate more people) stay away from the leftist and the whack jobs on the right and keep to a responsible middle and that should get you the presidency

It would sure do the country good to see a decent black man or some intelligent remarkable woman for that matter....anything that put some intelligence in the forefront of leadership for America.

At least men have held the presidency what about women no matter their race? I think it would be nice to give a woman a shot she couldn't possibly do any worse then what Bush has done these last years.

I hope so! We need a black as the President. There was a woman as president in Africa. So maybe a black person could be president in the U.S..
