you cant, you have to have 24 volts or you will burn the motor up. and to get 24 volts you have to hook the batteries up in series, just having two batteries together isnt going to give you 24 volts

buy another 12v battery... in order to make 2 12v batteries operate at 24v... connect one neg lead to the other pos lead. then the leads that aren't connected run the winch. I've been up for about 15 hours so double check that first... any auto parts store should be able to verify that one.

Use two red to black two of the cables on two 12v jump boxes and use the other two red and black to power the Winch. Walmart

You cant the current is huge. Just series 2 charged batteries
