Lime Away or CLR are both readily available in a lot of stores. But, do a test first to make certain you are not damaging chrome fixtures etc. If the lime has built up on your fixtures, soak a lint free cloth, four sack dish towel or similar, in vinegar and wrap it around the fixture and allow it to soak a few hours. Check it occasionally to see if the lime has lossened up. When wrapping it onto the fixture, have as much contact as possible with the fixture and lime. It works but remember vinegar is an acid too. Just milder than the Lime away and CLR.
Good luck shiney.

Try an SOS pad, don't scrub hard. Since the sink is black you need to be very careful not to harm the finish. Plug the drain and pour baking soda in the sink, next pour in some vinegar. Not to much of either or you will have a volcano going on in you sink. I use this mixture in my drains to eliminate the odor. Look and sounds like a volcano ready to erupt, but it works. No danger in mixing the two together.

make a paste with baking soda and water rub on and let set even dry then wash off. If you bring the vinegar to a boil in water it will work better or fill your sink with boiling water and white vinegar let it set that will make the vinegar work better it dosent work if you just pour it on and it runs right off again it must sit on the scale to disolve it

Dilute Formic Acid works well. Its the main ingredient of many proprietary de-scalars.make sure the room is well ventilated, then add the dilute acid, leave on till it stops fizzing if filling the sink would mean using too much acid (likely) then swab it on, but wear gloves, then rinse with cold water, any remaining residue is food safe, so this can also be used on kettles etc.

apple vinegar and baking soda and a lot of elbow grease. or if in a fix and need to hurry toilet bowl cleaner works. but wouldn't you rather just go buy some CLR or lime away they are not expensive and work very well without damaging your sink

Try baking soda and apple cider vinegar. The abrasiveness of the soda will help scrub away and the acid in the vinegar cuts through it. Use one after the other though. DO NOT MIX!

Use what I heard on the local news the other week. A pensioner mixed cillit bang and petrol together to remove a stain on his lino.
His cooker had an open pilot light.
Cillit BANG and your house is gone!!!

Home made stuff : litre of boiling water, teaspoon of dish washing liquid, teaspoon of tartaric acid [get it from the baking ingredients department at your local supermarket] and teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda.
Works like a bomb ;-) You can put your shower heads in it as well.
