Why are most men in general so insensitive to woman's feelings?

My husband acts like he never hears me.When I do try to talk to him he seems as though it's not important. He never takes anything I say serious.

It's been scientifically proven, via cat scan if I recall, that a man's brain and a woman's brain are different. Men have less connections that allow the left and right side of the brain to communicate well with each other. That's why men can sometimes seem to have a one track mind. Men also have a short attention span.

There is book that has been out for years about this called "Men Are From Mars, Women From Venus" this book will show you what a man is thinking when you say a certain responce. It's an interesting look at how our brains differ and may help you learn to communicate better with him so that he doesn't block you out.

One thing the book talks about is that women talk just to vent, while men..if you talk to them about your problem will try to correct the problem..they want to find a way to fix it. While this leaves you feeling as if you've been totally ignored. And you're usually ignored too if you've added too much detail.

OK IM A MARRIED MALE

lets see if i can help you ive been threw this myself with my wife and we have seemed to work threw this obstical.

#1 I will say this I can only focus on one thing at a time. Thats just how i am and how im told many men are.

#2 Do you try to talk to him while he watching something on TV. (dont compete with the TV its not about which is more important you or the TV). Think of it like this would you interupt a conversation between to people only because you wanted to be heard at that moment.

#3 When men talk to each other we are painfully blunt and to the point.None of this emotional crap (i dont mean to say this in a mean way) get to point and dont ramble on.

#4 OK we are all people here but your a woman and your talking to a man 2 entirely different spiecies. We can eithere complement each other or strangle the living crap out of each other.

#5 when you do have a conversation with your husband don't let your responses become general to everything or from last weeks episode. keep it dirrectly related and specific to your conversation at that time. Other wise he will look at you with this look like "where the hell did that come from.

#6 Yes dear is a way we men say please stop talking im watching or doing something else tell me later

#7 men cant read minds and we dont watch soap operas. So can the reading between the lines crap unless you want sex. where just that simple.

#8 Bonus answer i hate expensive sexy teddy's the next morning there all torn up at the foot of the bed and im out the money. If you want to turn on a man wear one of his neck ties and a smile

Well, it's not just that men are insensitive to women's feelings, they also don't care about other guy's feelings, kid's feelings or even their own feelings.

You, most likely, add too much fluff to things when you talk. Guys are much more direct..topic a to b to c, the end. Women often talk in circles and go round and round with topics. Guys don't like that, so they tune out.

Feelings --feelings! Damn, I hate that word. He never hears you because you never ask him a direct question or never, ever just tell him what you want. Women feel like marriage should be just one, long never-ending date. After you are married the DATE IS OVER! Give us a break. most all men are this way. it is part of there makeup. they tend to be more on the side were they are thinkers they with draw when they feel they are being smothered. although they do want us to love them anyway. if I may suggest . at your local library get this book:( men are from mars-woman are from Venus) this book will really open up your mind and will explain the way men are. He must learn from his father or he knew about your plm and he married you and now he won't listen to you how you feel? WHOA!

My wife tells me all the time feelings, her days, how lucky to have family our kids and me, talked about her plm, talks about her day at work, tells me about her best friend, tells me everythings, I listen what she says to me and I do the same thing and she does listen to me.. I enjoy listen her days even if i don't see her 8 hrs everyday and I would like to know how she do those days... not becasue want to know if she cheating.. smiling. but been 9 years of marriage never been bored for me to listen to her or her to me.. never. smile. Tell him that you know you knew I have this plm and all this and got married why is that?? why did you married me first place though you would be the guy would listen what I have to say? if not then you just married me because my body and my looks not the inside????

If he answer reason why?? he will tell you excuse that you made him get married with you and all that end it and say don't worry in 5 days you will get paper for divorce and it will make you happy not to hear me anymore plm.

then if he solve it with you saing ok ok ok then tell him I will call at work next day and let them know to tear it up... smiling.

Thats becoz he wants only sex from you. Get him to listen to you when you both are in bed. No sugar pie unless he listens to wat you have to say. Let him learn a lesson too.
