i heard you can start you period even though your pregnant. I was waiting until the day I was suppose to start my period to take an at home test. But i started it. My mom and my friend both had a period while they were pregnant and I was wondering if I could still take the test (even though there is going to be blood in it) and get a right answer or what should i do???

Wait until the bleeding stops and then take a test. It is possible to have a "period" while pregnant. I did with my first two for 5 months into my pregnancies. I never had very regular periods, but it would happen every month for a couple of days. My ob/gyn monitored me quite regularly and my boys both turned out perfect. If the test comes back positive you need to discuss what happened with your ob/gyn so that they can address your concerns and take the necessary steps to insure your baby will be fine. Don't panic, it's not as uncommon as you'd think. Good luck to you!! =)

i would wait a couple more days and then take a test. if you're bleeding heavily, theres probably not a chance your pregnant, cause if you are you need to go to a doctor asap. ive heard of women having periods during pregnancy but i think its kind of unlikely. good luck.

You can test but it is very very unlikely you are pregnant. It is not possible to have a period and be pregnant. But abnormal bleeding is possible in early pregnancy.
