Well you should know first that network standard model is divided into 6 layers. The first 3 are mostly involved within the software (that means the operating system) and the other 3 are involved in hardware (that means the network connectivity devices).
Cisco related courses (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE...) are courses that iwill teach you how to configure the network connectivity devices. And how to connect several pieces of network devices to create a larger LAN or WAN by using/choosing several sophisicated technology.
Microsoft related courses (MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA, MCxxx...) are courses that will teach you how to install a Domain controller server, mail server, database server, install and configure network clients to connect and interact with the server based on a specific set of policy, security, schema... and also by using/choosing several technology, skills...
Both of these are hot in networking careers and you should choose whichever that is most comfortable for you. If you have some knowledge in programming, go for Micrsoft certificates may be an advantages. If you are going to love worldwide network, then go for Cisco certificates.
Good luck and success!

The CCNA is a very good jumping off point for a career in networking. There is always a demand for people who can manage routed and switched networks and since Cisco is the primary player in the field, knowing how to configure the equipment is valuable to employers with large routed and/or switched networks.
My CCNA got me in the door at my current position and my income has nearly tripled in 5 years.

the most excellent cricketer of modern-day-day era, Sachin also all started on 16 even with the undeniable fact that it took him a lengthy time period to deal in 1000's precise? yet a 16 year older taking section in his 2d international tournament hostile to the international champions , scoring a 100 off 37? it really is so not ordinary to trust! He could be 19 or 20!
