Im an Arsenal fan and Im worried.Sol and Pires Left us,Coles going to leave us, BergKamp is Retired, and Reyes (whom I wasnt a fan of anyways) Wants to go to REAL MADR. We have injuries to Senderos,Lauren and a couple of people. The Defense Doesnt look at all Strong, The Midfield is ok but needs work and Experience,And I Still want VAN PERSIE to team up with HENRY instead of ADEBAYOR.With these Major details, DO you think Arsenal has any chance of winning the Premiership,FA cup, or UEFA? Definately want to know your Opinion

hi fellow friends, well i support arsenal as well. i am a little worried as well. lets start witht he back. i lehmann although he had a good world cup is gonna be 37 yrs old and i think arsenal really need to find a talented young keeper, so that he can learn from lehmann. goalkeeper wise i think lehmann and almunia will do us for the next 2 seasons. our defence is ok eboue is a great player and its exciting when he gets foward like he did yesterday and he is also a good defender. toure i think is slowly becoming a world class defender. with senderos, clichy and cole out, its djourue and hoyte i am worried about. hoyte is not good enough to play for arsenal, he is 22 yrs old now and i have seen him play for arsenal quite a bit, and u does not look like he has the potential to become better. i think our midfield is good . i know fabregas is only 19 but already he has played in the champions league final and also played in the world cup and along with torres he was spains best player. i think he as got some experience behind him and i think he will be the best midfielder in the world in the next few years. gilberto is prob the most experienced and he is descent,as well a ljungberg.rosicky is creative and i think he will replace pires and hleb looks good as well. i am worried tho that if any of these players get injured then arsenal have no backup, with reyes could be leaving arsenal have flamini who can do a descent job and walcott and then no one else. imagine if hleb and and ljungberg got injured, ok then rosicky and walcott will take his place, but then who are arsenal gonna have on the bench. we have henry which is brilliant and van persie is good as well. i think adebayor has potential but he has to work on his finishing. i think if any of our strikers get injured then arsenal are really gonna struggle. the next striker i can think of is jeremie aliadiere who does not look good enough to be playing first team football for arsenal. i hope ashley cole does not leave and i hope reyes does not leave. i hope they can realize they are doing wrong and come back and play with passion again for arsenal. To sum up i think arsenal need to buy a central defender, midfeilder and a striker and if they dont lose reyes and cole i think they could challenge for honors this season. if they lose cole and reyes and dont sign anyone then i think we could finish between 5th - 10th. i hope this does not happen tho. it would be good if arsenal had a wayne rooney, or another walcott in the youth squad, then i can understand him not buying anyone. come on u gunners

They had alot of good chances today, and were a bit unlucky they wouldnt go in. The defense does need a little work, hopefully Wenger will buy someone to help. However, the midfield played pretty well considering that its the first game. Theo was great when he came in. Thierry had a bad game, but I doubt that will continue. Adebayor didnt do much, but neither did van Persie when he came in. I think that Arsenal will be fine, they just need to shoot more instead of pass around the box. I still believe they can win the Premiership seeing as Liverpool tied and Tottenham lost, we arent the only ones still working things out.

The top players certainly did not play well. Henry was very out of sorts and Van Persie didn't fire either. Walcott despite his critics showed he has great potential. Aston Villa just had a never die attitude and played doggedly for O'Neill. Arsenal are experienced though and they know now they have to play to win. I'm sure they will perform better next time out.

Yea... Last year they can go to the champs league finals. Now they can even draw to aston villa.... Arsenal has a low chance of winning sliverware this season.

a lot of teams may be able to take advantage of arsenal this year as a result of the new stadium, as they're only adjusting to it themselves, it'll be like they're playing away from home even though they're at home!

I understand where you're coming from, the defense does seem shaky, but the gunners are strong, they'll be fine.
