It keeps giving me a message that the print head is not installed. I just used it a few days ago and it seemed fine. I've already tried changing the ink tank among other things. The model is a Canon i320. Any ideas?

Thanks for your suggestions. I've already checked the troubleshooting guide, but I'll try the other ones as well.

Maybe his crayon broke.....maybe he has writer's (a.k.a...printer's) cramp.......maybe just a mental block.......Ha Ha ha

I would suggest that you use the trouble shooter's guide which should be in your owner's manual. OR go to their web site and ask the troubleshooter / tech or guide. Probably something simple.

I had an i320, and never had that message before. I suggest you uninstall then reinstall the driver. How new is it? Have you moved your printer? If so, perhaps something was jarred loose. I really doubt that, because they are pretty sturdy, but you gotta grab at straws when there is no apparent solution. Other than that, just re-do the driver like I stated before. Question: does your light blue color come out light blue on paper? Mine never did. It was always a darker blue when dealing with graphics. As long as I printed photo quality material it was ok, but as soon as I print a cartoon or something like that, the light blue never would come out light blue. I just wondered if my i320 was the only one messed up. I see now that your printer is also messed up. Mine lasted three years other than the initial issue of light blue colors, until I sold it this summer for $20. I was giving it away to another college student, but she gave me $20 for it instead. I wasn't going to argue with her.

I would check out the troubleshooting guide, because usually there is an error message and in the guide you can find a step by step process on how to fix the problem. Your guide is found here.
