Yes they can. They are just like all other creatures that give "live" birth. There is no "specific" due date. It will happen when it is suppose to. Just like humans. Doctors are not always right when they pick a date from the information you have given them. The offspring will be delivered when it is the "right" and "correct" time.

Yes,they can be late and you could have possibly miscalculated the time it was bred.Just keep a watch on her if she goes too far over you really need to contact your vet.If she has lost her calf and you wait too long then you may end up losing not only the calf but her as well.Also,look for any signs of muscus or anything because if there is a sign of it she could be going into labor and having contractions just having complications.Just make sure you keep an eye on her really closely and have the vets number handy in case of an emergency.
