Open skies policy is a bilateral initiative where both countries offer some rights to each country's airline to fly in. Already Indian airlines are flying into London, Singapore and Sri Lanka. US is left out because of terrorism. Not many strong airlines in India today. Jet is under cloud for various reasons. Others are babies.

govt owned airlines are already in bad shape ..as govt propsed to merge both ..of them but as its not feasible now ..

as competition from every side..just eating away the profits.. as many low cost airlines ..are getting deep inside the minds of railway travellers...

Indian sky policy..needed to be revamped..as its already opended up ..for many players..
