A complete waste of taxpayers money. They could have housed it in various locations in the city but had to build new. It's over rated over priced and over there in the park........Well, almost

ok - the parliament could have been housed somewhere else and at less cost. However, if we want to be taken seriously, we need a new building which is fresh and meaningful. a lot of you have already poured scorn on the concept of a scottish parliament - however it has brought in some life-changing legislation that our neighbours in the uk have been scared to do (e.g. smoking in public places).
Therefore, dont knock it - its our parliament and we should be proud of it! (even if it aint the prettiest building around) one day it may even serve the purpose as home to an independant scottish government.

The building itself must be on the shortlist for the most overpriced ugliest buiding ever designed. The scottish parliament is quite frankly a joke if you are English.

It isn't often that I use the final word in this sentence, but on this occasion I think it applies to both the scottish parliament and its building - SHITE!

The parliamentarians are a bunch of self important diddymen ( and women). The building is spectacular worth every peny.
