what should be done to to increase calculative ability? I can't solve the quantative problems of Maths.?

However i can do it but not as fast as it shold be during the enterance test. I am going to appear for CAT. so plz guide me. I need frequent need of calculator

step one) get your basics right
2 ) one should have all the formulas on their tongue tips
3 ) try to know all short cuts
3 ) find out your strenght and weakness
4 ) increase your strenghts to the last limit
5 ) try to improve your weakness
6) to improve calculative ability keep your mind sharp you can even learn vedic maths very good in knowing all types of shortcuts
7) practise practise
8) during ,mock or cat first two min go through all the queations i mean a quick glance do first all the questions u know then if time permits do the one u think u can
my experice with quant say that in quant no of attempts are never high so u hav to improve your accuracy

You have to practice everyday. Before doing any practice test, read the book and try to understand the formula and equations. When doing the practice exam, understand the question, then answer it. You will be slow at first but after a while, you will be faster. Time yourself but do not hurry. Do not panic when your time is slow. Answer the questions that you are familiar first then go back to questions that you need to think about.

If you cannot answer the question, leave it and go the next one. Always remember your formula. That is very important.

make a habbit of solving 10 to 15 questions in an hour and 40 to 50 questions everyday. and slowly increase the frequency of questions on a 2 day basis.it helps me and i hope it helps u too.
