Nothing else gets stained - not the sleeves, the front, the back, nothing. But I can count on finding black marks across the tips of my collars - perhaps on one side, perhaps on both. WHAT GIVES?!

turn the shirts inside out with the collar inside fasten the top button and that will stop it they are getting pushed in the creveses of either the tub or the aggitator and getting the marks

Its little pieces of lint that have accumulated inside the collars tips.
Used to get it, thank god I dont have to wear those shirts anymore.

have you tried using bleach...wash them with like clothes.
