I know what you mean as I have endo.

I think the IUD will probably be making your endo symptoms worse. I'd have it taken out immediately.

The pill helped me, but I had to experiment with several different brands before I found one that suited me. The first few I tried just gave me terrible nausea and stomach upset. The only one I could get on with was Cilest.

There are hormonal treatments they can give for endo. Its not exactly the pill but it alters your hormone levels, prevents you ovulating and allows the endo to shrink. Some drugs used are goserelin (Zoladex), nafarelin (Synarel), Buserelin (Suprecur) and leuprorelin (Prostap). I know a few women who have used these drugs with success.

Here is some more information about the treatments available:

My endo was mild and as I was trying to conceive I was not given any drug therapy, although I totally understand the agony you go through, My periods were so bad I couldn't go out for a day every month!

I would talk to your doctor, GP or gynaecologist (whoever is treating you) as there will be something else you can take. You can't suffer like this!

I agree that you definitely need to get that IUD out. Do away with any caffeine that you are drinking or eating because that intensifies the pain. I had endometriosis when I was younger and ( had a hysterectomy when I was 32) I had to take 6 months of pills to keep me from having periods, then after wards I was able to get pregnant but it was worth it. There are also patches now that you might be able to use for birth control.

Girl, you are sufferring from what could become PID, pelvic inflammatory disease, which could leave you in pain for the rest of your days, or sterile, or both. Get that foriegn body out of your body, immediately! And have your man use a condom. Call your hospital now, see if you can get this done immediately.
Look up iud side-effects, and be afraid, be very afraid. And I write this with real concern for you. There's an American company that make IUD's that have kept surgeons VERY busy, ad an awful lot of women in terrible pain, but they have great lawyers to stop any claimants getting a buck out of them.

Have you considered the Mirena coil? It sounds like it might be good for your situation. It's similar to the copper coil in that it's inserted into the uterus. But unlike the copper coil, it releases a very small amount of progesterone constantly into the womb. Because it's such a small amount, it doesn't get into your blood stream, so it won't make you ill or affect your depression.

The small amount of progesterone released prevents build up of the endometrium, so it greatly reduces pain and bleeding when you have your period. In fact in some women, the bleeding stops altogether.

It sounds like it would be worth asking your doctor about it. Good luck.

whats up i replaced into clinically determined with endo @ 15 and replaced into as we communicate referred for a laproscopy (a surgical treatment the place they make an incision on your navel and place a tiny digicam interior to have a squiz approximately your ovaries etc to seek for any endo - it seems gross like little cysts) and in case you do have any they'll then make yet another incision the two fringe of your navel for his or her scalpels and tongs and then actually "slice" off the endo. The operation in all fairness painless although u do sense somewhat comfortable around the tummy for a sturdy month. The operation has an eighty 5% success fee (meaning that for eighty 5% of endo victims it rather is going to on no account advance lower back). Being on the pill additionally facilitates to decelerate the strengthen of endometriosis. communicate on your GP approximately it yet i might strongly propose it - its replaced my existence :-)

The pill may help lessen your cramps. I understand that you can't take pills, but the Pill is smaller than Pez candy. The reason you are having the pain may be becasue the blood from your menstrual cycle does not flow out all the way. You need to talk to your doctor about triphasic pills.

My wife says GET THE IUD REMOVED. She also has endometriosis and the IUD made it a hell of a lot worse. She was in agony with it.

I think you'd be better get referred to a gynae rather than asking this lot - kind as they are, their not exactly medically trained (not all of them anyway).

My sister has this and it so painful so I feel very sorry for you - one thing to do is cut out sugar and don't drink coffee the caffine is very bad for this problem - look on the net for the endometritis and it will come up with much more information - the Americans are way ahead of us - also look on Amazon as they have very good books - good luck

I would have the IUD removed & make the male use the contraception.
5 minutes of uncomfortable sex for him has gotta be better than you constantly putting up the your pain babe.
Good Luck.
