Yeah they are going too far. But they want to make money and I guess they find it's what people want to read.
A minority of celebrities want this kind of attention - they like people knowing about their private lives. But I'm sure a lot of them find it a real pain.

O.k. this is something that I don't seem to get, when the well know celebrities were coming they tried so hard just to get in the public eye, but when now their finally made it, and suddenly they say that their life is so hard, who they can't just get a cup of coffee or just walk the street like a normal person. If your a celebrity not make private films ,cause they might just end up on the Internet. So please do all of the little people a favor and stop making these films of your private life's, so you wouldn't be bitching about it!!

If the masses and the corporations joined forces to put some curbs on the over-the-top paparazzi, maybe they would back down. I thought after Diana's death, they would kind of chill out, but when you have Entertainment Tonight/Extra/Access Hollywood, then People/US/Star all trying to get an "exclusive", I don't see when or how it will end. But I hope no more lives are lost because of this madness.

Certainly, no one has the right to intervene in other's matters but when we talk about hollywood or bollywood stars then the whole concept changes. this is because they are public figures, whatever they do whatever they say has agreat impact on cinegoers it is absolutely true that people are intrested in their personal life but one should understasnd that they are also human beings. especially media should understand this. when media features them in compromisng position then it tarnishes their image. moreover their fans who think that their fav star can't do anything wrong gets negatively influenced and tries to do the same if such mitigate.stars are public figures and not a public property

as for hollywood stars, no. they have chosen to be actors and actresses, to be in the public eye, and are hansomely compensated for it.
i don't feel one bit badly for someone who makes $10-$20 million per movie and is stupid enough to make a sex tape which then gets circulated on the internet.
if the star or starlet made $10 or $20 million, then gave 90% of that to charity, only retaining what was necessary to live a modest or even relatlively well-off lifestyle, then i would feel badly for them that they had their private life invaded. otherwise, it's just karmatic justice.

If there wasn't an audience for such garbage, they wouldn't waste the time on it.
Blame the millions of losers with nothing better to do that pay attention to the lives of other people, do not blame the media.

Celebrities are public figures, and they know what they're getting into, whether they like it or not. They should know better than to do something that could adversely affect their reputations-- and even worse, to record it.
That said, I think the media has many other things to worry about than the lives of celebrities.

the fact of the matter is that could happen (and had happened) to any of us (who had done a compromising film that is.) but being a celebrity makes it a more desired commodity. so it's a moot point. if you make a recording of something you don't want seen, be prepared to face the consequences!
