Easter Eggs are bonus items on a dvd..like trailers and stuff like that. You can usually go to the movie website and they usually have information on where you can find them.

easter eggs arent exclusive to dvds. a lot of software has them. like in excel if you do some special set up to a page,something that is completely unneccessary, the designers names come up.
an expample of a dvdeegg is in the clerks uncensored if you wait at the menu page long enough a dog will walk by and pee on silent bobs leg.

dvd easter eggs are hidden features within dvds
for example in charlie and the chocolate factory with johnny depp.
watch up to where he is stood outside the chocolate factory. pause the film and look at his left hand. there is no hand but scissors (edward scissor hands which starred johnny) also later in the film one of the parents says i like grapes (whats eating gilbert grape another of his films)

go look under the big oak in the left hand corner of the backyard. there you will find a note from the Easter Bunny giving you hints on where to find these items..
