is myspace too over rated? i thnk its sorta over-rated but i use it because i have nothing better to do.

it really is I just am on it cause my friends don't use email so it's the only way of interent communication with them

I think it is extremely over rated and over trusted. I have a myspace just so I can get in touch with old high school and college friends. Other than that, its pretty useless.

myspace is a phenomenon, at one point it was getting 20,000 new members a day!
I think it proves that there is a huge need for people to connect but that's about it.
If you'd merge the profiling software of eharmony and the online keywording and connectiveness of myspace -- you'd have a hit on your hands that would really serve the people's need!

Very much so. It's only fun in small doses and it's annoying when soemone creates a page that takes 20 minutes to load.
