i think Bush after 911 waisted a huge chance to change the world into a better place, now at that time the whole world was sympathetic to the US , now lets forget that the states was a major player in building of islamist extremism as a way to combat communism during the cold war ( remember the mujaheddin where our allies against soviet union , just see Rambo ) forget all that
after 911 the US could have gathered forces from all the world armies and concentrated on getting those SOB s in afganistan , then concentrated a whole lot more with the help of the rest of the world in creating a model democracy in afganistn . after that he could have concentrated on countries where democracy does not exist , and threatened them of the use of force without the actual use of force to allow democracy to creep in , first free political prisoners , then allow media to be free , one step at a time once he succeeds with two or three countries , the rest of those countries peoples will be empowered to change their condition .
the Chinese have the same word for crisis and opportunity
911 was a crisis , it could have become an opportunity .
this is my opinion, i do not know if it is worth anything though

First Iraq had nothing to do with 911. 15 out of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia and no action their. Bush has done a great job of linking 911 with Iraq and changing the word insurgent into the word terrorist. The 911 terrorist were already here just like in London and Canada and Miami and today our ports, trains, semi's, are not protected. We have yet to catch a terrorist over there with information about coming over here to attack.

The Dubya is full of crap. There was never any terror in Iraq or sponsored by Iraq until the U.S. invaded. It's too bad he didn't know the difference between Iraq and Iran - which truly sponsors and actively spreads terrorism (Hezbollah).

You can't be serious about LISTENING to ANYTHING Dictator Dumbya says??? The answer to your question is to imagine that you are a non-politically inclined citizen of Iraq and that YOU were invaded and in the process killing thousands and occupied by someone who didn't give a damn about the average person there. Dumbya is screwing up the USA WITH some political restraints. Iraq is how bad it would be without them.

No the Islamofascist are a social trend that is emerging. I think it was inevitable even if the WTC had been thwarted the rising anti West movement was destined to take up arms against America.
This is far from over, radicalized Muslims have a mission and it will be bloody.

No, He, WE (both parties voted to go to war) made it a terrorist state.
Saddam ruled the country the only way he could. By instilling the fear of death into anyone thinking of committing such acts against each other. Violence is the ONLY rule these people understand. Yes Saddam could be responsible thousands of deaths, but can we agree that because of those deaths he saved tens of thousands? The secular violence in Iraq could erupt into civil war at any time...How many will die?

So what do we do to come again to a call them? the user-friendly answer would be......"all of us would desire to stop encouraging those events". If we are rather patrioitic we would desire to do it. i comprehend all of us isn't a Mahatma and its very complicated to try this. yet do we atleast stop 0.5 of them? I watched Shahrukh Khan's interview in CNN-IBN. I cherished his perspectives, they have been so user-friendly and user-friendly. unlike our legislators who purely react and supply some biased comments.

He is dead wrong. The key stone in the fight against terror is in Israel. If Israel gives up the occupied Arab lands the world will be a much safer place.Iraq did not attack the US nor Israel. There was no link what so ever between Iraq and Binladen.Bush is fighting the wrong war and he is fighting it badly.
