No! They have no proof that you actually purchased them there.

no you may not. nordstrom requires the receipt along with the tag of your merchandise that you have purchased. without those two things you cant explain how it is theirs. if you already took the tag off that means your are going to wear the jeans and that they are officially yours. if the receipt was lost or "misplaced" then you cant return the item. please read the return policy on the back of the receipt next time you go to nordstrom.

The reason I think "no, you cannot" is because there is a crackdown on people buying clothes, wearing them once (even sometimes laundering them) and then returning them to the store. That's some sort of fraud, and is against the law. Then there are others who steal stuff and try to return it to a store...so this is why they tell you no. So the rule of thumb for you to remember is that when you buy "anything" you need to keep the receipt and tags.

No, they have no proof of you buying them. I think all sales are final sometimes. I think if your lucky they'll give you some store credit, but not likely. But why not keep your jeans?
