There are some claims and study to indicate that our ability to predict future events, trends and outcomes is limited to 60 months or less. Bottom line, get an education in the area you want to predict.

Right now the biggest prediction game in town is about global warming and its effects. Here there is fame, fortune, grant money, unlimited personal satisfaction in exercising ones sacred opinions, all sorts of perks.

If you're talking crystal balls and prophecy you have entered theology and demonology and maybe should take your question to religion.
To do that you need some kind of spirit and guess what? -- more education.
